Collection: March 2025 Tabletalk

The March 2025 issue of Tabletalk will consider the biblical concept of hope. So often today, it seems that hope is impossible to find in the world. Even many Christians have accepted that things are hopeless, rather than fixing their hope on the sure fulfillment of God’s promises in the return of Christ. Moreover, the common use of the word hope to mean a desire for something that might or might not happen has sometimes seeped into the church and affected our understanding of biblical hope. These tendencies can sap the strength that God provides by His Holy Spirit for Christian living. This issue of Tabletalk will explore the biblical teaching on hope, seeking to correct common misconceptions and equip believers to sustain their hope in ordinary circumstances and in suffering.
