Collection: December 2023 Tabletalk

The December 2023 issue of Tabletalk will give an overview of the doctrines of grace. One of the defining aspects of biblical, Reformed theology is its soteriology, its understanding of how God and man operate in salvation. Reformed soteriology gained its definitive formulation in the Canons of Dort, and the teaching of these canons has come to be known more popularly as the five points of Calvinism. When we understand Reformed theology as expressed in the doctrines of grace, we have a deeper appreciation for the grace of God and a stronger confidence that He perfectly achieves His purposes in the lives of His people. This issue of Tabletalk will present the doctrines of grace, show their biblical basis, clarify their meaning, and answer common objections to them.
