Can we truly know if we are saved? Christians in every generation have wrestled with this question. The Protestant Reformers sought to help believers cultivate assurance by resting in Christ alone for their salvation rather than their own works.
In Blessed Assurance, Jesus Is Mine, Dr. Cornelis Venema examines the doctrine of assurance through a careful analysis of Scripture and Reformed theology. With pastoral insight, this book demonstrates that assurance, rather than a rare privilege for a few Christians, is a blessing that flows from the very heart of the gospel.
