The March 2026 issue of Tabletalk will feature articles on the theme of the church in the wilderness. One of the prominent biblical-theological themes in Scripture is the wilderness, especially as the setting for the life of Christians as individuals and as the corporate church. When we understand the biblical teaching on the place of the people of God in the wilderness under both the old and new covenants, it enriches our understanding of Scripture, prepares us for more faithful service to God, and helps us develop appropriate expectations for this life. This issue of Tabletalk will seek to help Christians better understand what it means for the church to be journeying through the wilderness so that they will better be able to serve the Lord with conviction and courage.
