The December 2021 issue of Tabletalk will demonstrate how core truths of the Christian faith are taught by the lyrics of some of our most beloved Christmas hymns. The great carols used in public worship during the Christmas season exist not merely to glorify God and warm our hearts, but they also present in brief form many of the key theological teachings of Scripture. As we sing these hymns and think on their theology, we grow in Christ and are equipped to take the gospel to the ends of the earth. This issue of Tabletalk will use lyrics from several Christmas hymns as a springboard to summarize some of the most important doctrines of biblical Christianity.
